This guitar neck clip-on PT40 Tuner has vibration-based tuning technology with a Li-Ion rechargeable battery as its power source. It features automatic chromatic tuning, and displays the measured musical note on a large, backlit LCD screen.
It also includes USB 2.0 interface with a charging cable included. On Board Research, the manufacturer, claims that it feels the instrument’s vibrations instead of relying on sound for more accurate tuning.
The new tuner will be available in February 2011 with a list price of $49.95
