Sammy Hagar opened his third “Sammy’s Beach Bar & Grill” ats JFK airport today along with HMSHost Corp and British Airways riding the success of the Vegas and Maui locations. The restaurant features a beach house theme of course with natural beach tones, bright colors, palm trees and surfs boards throughout.
I’ve been to Sammy’s Cabo restaurant in Lake Tahoe at Harrah’s. I didn’t try the food, but the Cabo was good. I would have liked to seem him perform there. I’m a big fan of Sammy/VH/CF and it was cool to see some of the memorabilia at the restaurant.
The cool thing about Sammy is that he definitely nows how to party, but it seems treats his fans well, he’s committed to producing good rock music, and he gives to charity. Sammy will send his profits from this restaurant to the local New York community charities: Blessings in a Backpack and the Food Bank for New York City. Even if you don’t like his music, it’s hard not the love The Red Rocker!
