A new guitar lesson site was launched this past week by Legacy Learning Systems out of Nashville, TN. GuitarApprentice.com aims to combine the technology of interactive video games with your own guitar. The player takes the guitar part of hit songs and breaks them into easy portions on multiple levels so that they are as painless and fun to learn.
There are 15 levels for each song, from raw beginner to master. The player is available for Mac and PC users. Songs are added monthly and current songs include: “Boom,” “Hit Me With Your Best Shot,” “Shine,” “You Really Got Me,” “Sharp Dressed Man,” “Taking Care of Business,” “Get Back,” “Hey Jude,” “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Independence Day,” “Please Remember Me” and “Mountain Music.”

Wow, what took them so long? All those years wasted hitting colored buttons…I could have been learning how to play a real guitar! Ugg!
Anyone try this yet?
