Guitarist Kevin Briggs Offers Free eBook for Beginners

Free stuff is usually always a good thing, but free stuff that is actually useful is much better. Well, guitarist Kevin Briggs has put together Guitar Basics, a free ebook to help beginners learn the chords and scales that can be used for playing rhythm and soloing in most styles of music. Through his years of performing in rock, funk, r&b, soul, blues and pop music he has developed this book to illustrate the fundamental tools needed to write songs or perform in a band.

Born in Canada, Kevin now lives in Australia and has been featured in many music publications. The most noteworthy include Canadian Musician Magazine (Canada’s largest selling music publication) and Guitar Player Magazine (This U.S.A. based magazine features the top players on the international guitar scene). He has his first EP due for release later this year.

The book includes open position chords, barre chords, scales, and modes beginners should concentrate on when first starting out, finger exercises and an explanation of how to read tablature. The chord diagrams and scale patterns are clear, concise.

***Kevin also has some great backing tracks he’s recorded with fellow musicians Nick Marangoni and Nick Cohen that that are charting very well on iTunes. Get them to solo over with the scales you’ll learn in the ebook.

I highly recommend that you download your copy of Kevin’s ebook Guitar Basics.
