Castiv has come out with a bracket that you can attach to the neck of your guitar in order to hold your smartphone or PSP. Perhaps this can be useful to run apps that you can play along with, or so you don’t miss a call or text you’re expecting, or is it just to encourage smartphone/tech addicts? What happened to using the headstock for it’s original intention like EVH? … see pic below …

If you’ve wondered “What Happened to Don Felder?” He’s been busy. For the epic “Hotel California”, Don Felder said used a 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard for every electric guitar part and he recently did and interview with Gibson to talk about how and when he got it, how he came up with the idea for the song and the solo, and an old elastic capo.
Unbelievable Human Guitar!

I wouldn’t believe if there was no video, but Michael Winslow can officially be called “The Human Guitar” using only his voice to replicate a guitar. He performs the electric guitar with a full band including the solo with a piece reminiscent of Pink Floyd if you turn off the lights, sit on the floor and put on the ultraviolets. Remarkable what can be done with the human body if you put your mind to it. I have no idea if he can play a traditional guitar or actually sing, but this is certainly something else. What do you think?
