The UK’s Pia Dean is an emerging indie singer-songwriter whose acoustic songs are attracting vocalists to collaborate with her in performing her songs. Pia has been writing songs since the age of 15 with musical influences that cross various genres and including James Morrison, U2, Stevie Wonder, and Amy Winehouse.
Pia’s debut single titled “Maybe’” featuring Caroline Langford on vocals is available for download on iTunes.
It’s has been written that “Pia’s songs are autobiographical and writing for her is the perfect release for different coloured emotions. Once Pia is happy with a song she will then start to produce it in Logic experimenting with a mix of sounds from different genres.”
I wanted to listen for myself so I checked out her SoundCloud page. Pia breaks away from her intricate acoustics to have some fun with two dance mixes.
